About
The Author
During the winter of 2008, everything changed. After completing the Camino of Santiago pilgrimage — known in English as “the Way of St. James” — Cinzia realized that her career as a psychologist wasn’t as exciting as she had hoped.
It became clear to her that being surrounded by nature was more stimulating than working in a clinic, so she decided to follow her deeper intuition.
However, a few more years of working in the Big Tech industry went by before she finally understood that life was worth the risk of leaving a safe but unfulfilling place for the unknown. After quitting her job in the greater Seattle area, she moved with her husband to Montana, where she now lives an adventurous life exploring nature and the outdoors.
To this day, Cinzia maintains her passion for hiking, outdoor sports, traveling, and nature exploration.
